The spokesman on the radio this lunchtime said that if he had just been a whistleblower it would have been one thing, but that the sort of information he'd been handing out, things like details of the technology, processes, the routes and timetables of the buses that took the staff to the plant etc. were the sort of details spies want, not whistleblowers.

Of course the spokesman was trying to say that Vanunu was more than just a humanitarian but was in fact a dangerous person ... and the fact that the Israelis feel he still knows dangerous secrets he hasn't told yet makes him more interesting!

If they had nothing else to hide, they could let him go, but obviously there *is* more or they wouldn't treat him this way ... what a bad move on Israel's part!
