Yesterday's supper with friends and not having to drag ourselves home was good. Looby Loo may not yet quite have forgiven us for having stayed rather than leaving her to sleepover on her own but she had fun too.

Have this feeling that we owe quite a number of folk quite a number of meals. We got out of the habit of cooking for folk and ought to get back into it: it's not as if we don't enjoy cooking. The only problem is either feeding LL on her own early (which seems mean) or trying to enterain with a fractious and hungry five-year-old at the table. It'll be so much easier when she's a bit more grown up.
