Living in the Dark Ages

Ironing whilst transferring contents of CDs (for inevitable baby-sitting in hotel room sessions at the weekend) onto cassette, we're beginning to consider going out and buying the cheapest portable CD player we can find, even if we really want an iPod. (Whilst we likes our gadgets an awful lot. We only likes ones we use. Since, at worst, we'll almost definitely get an iPod by the end of the year, we're willing (just about) to make do, since it'd be a waste to get another piece of kit, however cheap, that would only get used for a few months.)

Of course, we'll still have to cart the CDs along, too, for use in the car.
