Here we go again
Jun. 24th, 2004 09:53 amI lay in bed last night a imagined sliding myself out of my body, out of the burning skin on my hands and arms and the itching of my forehead and scalp, past the swollen aching knots of knuckles, elbows and knees and the stabbing pain of heels. I had my eyes closed tight, but was staring straight ahead, as any movement caused the sensation of sandpaper rubbing across eyeballs to return. I slipped away from all this and tried to sleep through the lashing wind and rain outside.
