Random Monday Morning Trivia

It's raining, but at least it didn't start until Looby Loo was chivvied off to school. She almost didn't make it. All weekend, she's wandered round looking like a little ghost--with a red-head's skin tone she does the paleness rather appealingly, but the big tired eyes were just plain sad. Added to that the fact I've managed to upset her--by planning new furniture for her bedroom (more expensive than furniture I ever think of acquiring for the rest of the house)--and all in all she's more than a little down. A bad case of the post-Xmas blues, maybe? Plus toothache.

A package arrived, and was therefore taken away again, whilst I was out. It's always a tad annoying when that happens: it's only Monday morning when I do the school run (literally: we were late, so we ran!). It's probably glucosamine (ordered using the information in plaid_dragon's useful post) as I'm not expecting my late Xmas present yet.

Meanwhile, I spent the weekend reading up on the law for school governors. (Now I wish to rewrite the entire folder of information to eliminate incorrect agreement of sentence subjects and verbs, incorrect apostrophes, bulleted lists in the middle of sentences with the trailing end of the sentence incorrectly included as the last item in the list, and so on and on and on. Sighs.) This means I now know what other things I need to read or find out in order to understand what I'm meant to be doing. First meeting in a week-and-a-half.
