Autumn Term
Sep. 19th, 2007 01:25 pm(Now, I know that's someone else's book title, but I'll borrow it anyway.)
Seen during walks to school's new location: squirrel, moorhen (adult and juvenile), mallard (adult and juvenile), kingfisher, water vole(?). Also this year has produced bumper crops of sloe, and the blackberries taste stunning (just picture me purpled).
Meanwhile at our destination, LL is settled in, up a class from where we'd expected: so that'll keep her brain active. She's only lost one item of clothing in the first week, so we're doing fine.
And the ravens are still officially on holiday--from the OU, at any rate--until the 1st, although the course book arrived yesterday and the website opens on Monday next.
