Leper Chapel

Finally, after thirteen years of living here, we've been inside the leper chapel just down the road. We didn't get chance to wander in during the brass band concert we listened to in the grounds earlier in the summer. But yesterday I got a look around and caught the end of a talk on the chapel's history during the little celebration of the old medieval fair (next year, we do it in costume) that happened, well basically, under our house and the indusrial estate behind us and down to the river. The chapel's a battered and patched up relic in need of tlc, but is one of Cambridge's oldest buildings. I feel inclined to become its friend... for life.

Looby Loo spent an age watching spinning... again... a natural spinster?
