We've dunnit. The 13.5k bloated story has been submitted to the tender mercies of the writers' group: it languishes in the cells under the Colosseum as we write. Backed up properly too.

Need to do:

• plan structure of two further parts
  
• draw timelines/check chronology for consistency
  
• find a title for the entire thing
