It could be worse. She could have realized that the Doctor's multiple world explanation ("every decision you make") means there is a world where Pete didn't go back to catch Rose, and therefore there is a Rose who did fall into the Void. (And another where Pete who had now travelled between worlds more often than Rose and appeared closer to the open breach and didn't have anything to hang onto got sucked in too, because the script writers made the decision to have consistent rules. Sorry.)
