Unsuitable Xmas Choices

Well, whilst doing the CWIL thing last night, we took the opportunity, since we meet in Borders, to do a little, almost the last, Xmas shopping. Found two books for M, so we now do have something apart from a new pair of Winter gloves, for both Xmas and birthday. Got Looby Loo a couple (well, three, as there was a 3 for 2 offer on) of books (dangerous of course: they'll inevitably be ones that the ravens find they can't read out loud for choking up). Picked up a couple of things for ourselves too. Got home and suggested that, seeing as how Xmas is so close and we have a huge backlog of unread tomes by the bedside (futon-side?), we'd happily allow them to be our Xmas present. Evidently De Quincy and De Sade are not considered fit offerings. Sent M and LL out with an annotated wishlist copied from Amazon. Which bits we get is likely to be largely defined by availability, so we can probably guess.

What's wrong with our choices? It's all in the name of research.
