UNIVERZALNO DEKLARACIJA BAŠO ČAČIPA E MANUŠESKERE (for International Human Rights Day)

"Sa e manušikane strukture bijandžona tromane thaj jekhutne ko digniteti thaj čapipa. Von si baxtarde em barvale gndaja thaj godžaja thaj trubun jekh avereja te kherjakeren ko vodži pralipaja."
When you see this in your friendslist, quote from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. (via yonmei )
There are so many peoples and languages represented in the list of available translations of the world's most translated document. This is Romani.
It could have as easily have been Burmese, or Tibetan, or another country lacking freedoms.
It could have been Esperanto or Interlingua.
Maybe, one better day, when we've stopped using small differences between human beings as sources for cruelty, conflict, exploitation, we won't need all the translations because the truths in the declaration would be self-evident (to paraphrase another declaration).
