Notepad, or some such, indeed is the other option. It's the sudden failure that really irritates. I had been able to rely on ScribeFire and now I can't. (And I can't find out--could be the latest upgrade of ScribeFire or of Opera or the fact I've had to enable Opera Unite--let alone unwind some changes to fix it.)

Technology, don'tcha just love it?
