You'd think that by 4.00pm on December 31st, the year would have run out of things to throw at you. Or with all the crap of 2106, we'd've learned how to dodge.
It hadn't. We hadn't.
Mr Socks went from somewhat off-colour and possibly in need of a check up at the vee eee tee next week to needing us to ring the local emergency cover number in the space of a half hour.
He was in sever kidney failure, his readings off the scale, and with the possibility of all sorts of bad things going on, if he could be temporarily stabilised. We said our goodbyes and hugged him on his way..
He's downstairs now so that Ozzie can get see him.
We start the new year tomorrow by burying Mr Socks
