Mini M--

She's a monster!

I've a dozen scratches and actual bruising besides. The damage to my neck is really quite nasty.

We were only taking her to the vee ee tee for the second part of her vaccinations. It took three of us to get her cornered and in the cat carrier. She was a dream with the vet of course. And is now home and hiding.

At least, as of a fortnight ago, my tetanus jabs are up to date.

Ow. Hopefully she'll calm down now she realises that you've not thrown her out.

Our Edward was phobic about the cat carrier.

He'd panic and pee/crap himself at the sight of it. Getting him into it involed trapping him in one room before bringing the carrier out of the store room, then one person grabbing him while the other brought the ready-opened carrier into the room and shoving him in before he had a chance to see what they had with them..... it was a real production number, I can tell you. No wonder his previous owner never took him to the vet.

I hope you can keep your wounds clean and uninfected.

Was it a phobia about the cat carrier? Eg bad smell or associations with previous (non-vet) trips.

Fingers crossed that she'll come oout soon then.
