Damage? What Damage?

From the BBC coverage of BAR'S Friday qualifying:

With drivers Jacques Villeneuve and Jenson Button having missed free practice, Richards is considering a move to counter-sue.
"We will have to quantify the damages caused by missing the session and that will be for the lawyers. "
After today's performance perhaps Jacques should be banned from too much driving pre-qualifying.

Probably needs this link (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/3044934.stm) to explain the "lack of damage so far".

JV is 7th, but given that each car was getting faster as the track dried (meaning the Minardis are currently 1st and 2nd ... gasp!) he didn't do *that* well, and Button had the following bit on the BBC site "Meanwhile Villeneuve's team-mate, Jenson Button of Britain, is confident ahead of the French Grand Prix. 'It's a track I enjoy so I'm looking forward to it,' he said" and he's in 20th place out of 20 cars ...

... qualifying should be fun tomorrow, particular if the weather stays variable ...
