Partial Success

Our glasses having decided to distintegrate further, we decided it was time to go for an eye test (good idea what with the anti-malarials). Rang the opticain and got an appointment for today. All good. Our vision's getting a little better each time we go.

Sadly, they were out of wonderful bendy frames, so we're making do until next week. Only bendy frames, despite their habit of losing all their plastic attachments and screws, will do.

The newsletter from trendcentral.com today (note: must add link when it's up on the site) mentioned 'a new "wholesome" teen magazine'. Are we really the only folk to immediately wonder what Donatien Alphonse Francois would have made of this?
