Larger on the Inside?

I've finished the TARDIS socks! And they're gorgeous! Neater on the inside too!

This really must make me a proper fan-girl, yes?

I think it's the first time I've finished anything using The Natural Dye Studio yarns. The Blue Faced Leicester (which I've had for ages) was lovely and the slightly-washed/aged effect of the dyeing is just perfect for the TARDIS. Lovely to knit with, too. (It felt a little coarse, but was very kind on the hands, and didn't become overtwisted/unwind too much.)

The pattern was lovely to follow (bar a couple of tiny nitpicks),too, and I'm really impressed by the panelled section.
