I'm drip feeding milk for kittens and water every half hour. If Big had the energy, he'd hate me. As it is, after 5ml or so, he turns his head away. He's not resisting being washed either: this is a good thing as he's turning a very grubby grey colour through lack of licking.
Looby Loo is away and not due home until Friday. I think, unless we decide he's in too much pain, he'll still be there, curled up under the piano stool. I think she'd rather say goodbye in person.
The only decision to to be made is whether we simply let him fade away (as he must do: the amount of fluids I'm getting into him can't be sufficient to keep his already compromised kidneys going) or take him to the vet for a swifter exit (judging by the effect of the five minutes in the car coming home on Saturday, he won't survive another journey like that).
