Just Can't Win

This evening I found the elderly underweight and whingeing cat eating up the boy cats' leftovers. This is the squelchy food for elderly fat cats which I give to the boys as a change from their dried (for elderly indoor overweight cats) stuff in an attempt to prevent them from instantly stealing her squelchy (and so expensive we'll need a second mortgage) food when she forgets what's she's doing and doesn't eat it and I fail to cover it up in time.

Yes, she's doing the stealing now. Of the weight-loss stuff. When we've spent the last two years desperately finding anything at all that she would eat to stop her wasting away. (When the vet cheerfully asks how the anorexic cat's doing you know you've a problem.)
