The Little Cat
Oct. 7th, 2013 06:27 pmI was just reminded--by the sudden rocketing of a small white fluff ball the length of the house and back--that I've not documented this summer's ups and downs in the Little cat's life. So, briefly (and as much to remind me when next at the vee ee tee):
- Late May b'hol, the inevitable trip to the vet with bloody urine (ultrasound [nowt found], rehydrating at surgery) (weight down)
- Early July, a kitten in a puddle of urine so dilute it can't have hit the sides on its way through the cat (change of diet) (weight down)
- Late summer b'hol, cystitis (pain killlers, glucosamine) (weight down)
- Last week, ditto. (but, weight up a tad)
Roll on colder weather as it always perks her up.
We're still giving subcutaneous fluids a couple of times a week and the changed diet and glucosamine will continue. High maintenance little lady is still full of a determined will to live, tho' she wobbles a bit now and then, and she falls over if you brush past her with dressing gown or long skirt.
Still, at least there's a great deal of cohabitation going on:
