Conspiracy

So, we buy the Persil tablets, remember (doesn't often happen) to cut out and keep the tokens, help acquire more messy art stuff, requiring more washing, and hence the buying of more Persil tablets, remembering to cut out and keep.... It's all at Free arts and crafts materials for schools. Or am we too cynical?

Actually, due to our lack of "correct" shopping habits, we're completely useless parents. We don't buy many processed foods, and what we do we attempt to get from organic brands. We're not, however, going to be shamed into buying bags of Walkers crisps or whatever the latest scheme is to buy books for schools. Though the alternative of finding a political party to vote for that might genuinely advocate more taxation to provide better public services is getting less and less likely.
