I've never gone for the organic food is healthier argument--less bad due to fewer residual pesticides; yes, positively better, not proven--but this from New Scientist does seem to offer at least one that is better.

So, do I tell the young ketchup addict that it's OK to eat lots of the stuff (we buy Heinz' organic)?

Organic fruit and veg seem to have higher trace mineral content.

Lycopene is supposedly good for you, and there's more in ketchup than in tomatoes (I guess because it's concentrated)
