From the Indy: Scots and Irish join forces to create a Celtic whisky (link will die in a day or two).
Hum. Paint me unconvinced. But then I prefer single malts to blands [for once the typo hits the (rusty?) nail on the head! blends] anyway.

Date: 2005-03-17 12:51 pm (UTC)A quick Google says as well as Welsh whisky there is a Cornish distillery which is too new to have anything aged to release yet, and a couple of Breton distillerys, one of which uses buckwheat rather than barley.
