Vote? no, I'm obviously too stoopid :-(

I've looked sober, I've searched stocious, I've followed the links from the In Our Time newsletter, but I can't for the life of me find where to vote. Am I too stupid to see something that's blindingly obvious to the better-brained? Somewhere round here there is a place to vote.

Thanks. Not that intend to vote since it's all b***** men. But was that link on any of the pages? I think I tried everything I could possibly choose--and could get into an Opera users paranoid tizzy about what's not working...

Near the top of the page, in the middle, in the first block of real content (rather than the left and right menus and the header secton) it says:

Greatest Philosopher Vote
Listen to the experts and then vote on the final shortlist of the top twenty philosphers from the nominations stage

and the "vote on the final shortlist" is a link to a page with a short description of each philosopher and a "Vote Now" button for each which takes you to the page fleetfootmike mentioned.

B.t.w. do you know anyone who keeps the podcasts of "In Our Time"? I want the Abelard and Eloise one from a few weeks back.

I don't tend to keep them--even the weeks when I don't get to listen twice on a Thursday. There's the Listen Again here, but I guess, like me, you'd prefer the mp3?

I'd guess that asking sbisson might bear fruit. Or ask on radio4listeners.

I'll check with that nice Mr.sbisson, good idea!

But having it still available on "listen again" will do for the moment, since I have the capability of recording streaming audio to minidisc.

And I had the ability to save streaming audio to MP3, and posted up the details in my LJ back around November/December sometime, so I'll have to go back and find how I did it so I can set it up again!
