It's a good thing we have the screen up at the dining room window (to keep the cats in). Else we'd have the strictly outside hens in too.

Cats are fascinated. Jack is unconcerned. However, neither side says a word during the whole eye-balling process.

Hens seem to exude a slightly fussy confidence which must help. They are incredibly bossy too.

Our cats are, it has to be said, wimps, cosseted indoor wusses.

I did see the bear tree-ed by cat story and I'm still boggled.
