Fine, so I'm off to tackle one of the items on today's to-do list. The one, in fact, that M commented on this morning. Fortunately -- and I think it is fortunate for many reasons and on many levels -- item number four reads "Iron" and not "Iran".

Bearing in mind the size of the pile awaiting me at home, I think the size of the two problems is rather similar. But at least in the case of the ironing, the best approach is fairly clear.

Well, I'm sure a strategic nuclear option would be just the thing for the piles of ironing I have to do. Not quite the solution for the Middle East.
