Biggle

Caught him napping (which isn't hard).

Deeply silly.

Mind you, our Tom was earlier upside down on the lawn in the sun, so he's got no room to talk.

Oh, cats can end up in the most odd positions, and still be perfectly comfortable.

Its' an art - a truly enviable one, too.

And he looks so pleased with himself, too....

Aaahhh....

... Our Two spent today discovering the advantages of their new collars. Kiwi having lost hers last week, and Broggy having shed the label I tied on which said 'I have arthritis, which is not helped by my weight. I am also on a special diet. Please do not feed me', I have bought them new ones. He now has a collar that says DO NOT FEED : CHIPPED on it. Kiwi's just has CHIPPED and the number (if neighbours want to subsidise her, they're welcome).

The advantages of the new collars, from a cat point of view, is that mice can hear the enhanced kind of bell attached to them. You would think this (from a cat point of view) a disadvantage, but it prolongs the chase. It is, however, (from an us point of view) a disadvantage, as when a mouse is let loose in Trevor's study, we are much less sure that the mouse will be apprehended and exited.

Both are now outside, banging on the cat-flat obstructed by a box of washing powder and a stool.

That is an excellent cat picture.
