In which the ravens have hearts of stone...
not!
We, Looby Loo and I, wanted a cake. She wanted chocolate chip; I wanted coffee walnut. What we got was half a Victoria sponge with choc chips plus chocolate butter cream filling, half a Victoria sponge with walnuts and a coffee butter cream filling, and chocolate on top of the whole. Her half is shrinking faster than "our" half.
Of course, I should just have ignored her for once (I'm sick and tired of Victoria sponges) and make the coffee cake: it's not as if she doesn't drink the stuff. But, hard-hearted Hannah had temporarily disappeared.

Doing a Victoria sponge meant that I could get it to an almost ready to bake state, split it in two, add choc chips to one half in one pan and walnuts to the other half. More than that was too messy to consider. Walnuts on their own were rather nice.
