Things I have (re)learned this week

Sufficient command line fu to mass delete the literally hundreds (400+) untitled folders Mr Socks had created on my desktop and the single folder he'd bothered to name.

I did consider leaving them there: he obviously feels the need to leave his mark for posterity. (I'm putting the pile of hoicked up fur ball down to similar desires.)
