I'm waiting to get on the Suttons website--in a queue. Neat!
I need a few more seeds. Now I've found just how good the garden office is for setting seeds off--and the space to do it in--I need more seeds (that are not labelled use by 199*).

Date: 2020-04-08 11:23 am (UTC)I have also planted seeds from fresh tomatoes - both cherry and regular - they may not breed true, but it will be an interesting experiment. The jury is still out on the peppers.
The potatoes belonging to Captain Enthusiastic's housemate's girlfriend that were a foot tall in a cupboard in Lancaster seem to be settling into their new home too.
Hope you are feeling OK, as far as possible - let me know if you want any shopping done, if/when your household is self-isolating? Sainsburys on Coldhams Lane seems to have pretty good stocks of many things so far.

We're doing OK so far. Co-op on Mitcham's Corner does deliveries on the day. The veg. box arrives weekly--with bread too. Eggs are plentiful. But thank you for the offer.

Date: 2020-04-08 12:46 pm (UTC)JC got some free tomato plants from a work colleague last year, and they did very well in pots on the patio, next to his chilli extravaganza - so I am hopeful.
I have purple bean plants too, and think some sort of brassica is growing in my compost bin - I need to figure out where that should go ;-)
