Mr Oswald

He's got arthritis in his spine (probably everywhere, since that's what cats do). So Metacam, so long as it doesn't make his kidney disease worse. And we've been dealing with the dodgy kidneys pretty much since we got him ten years ago, so apart from regular blood tests he'll need there's not much more to do.

There's been an almost instant pickup in his ease of moving--and he washed his bum! Hooray!

Metacam works well for Jet - he was getting very creaky, and then he had it for his teeth and cheered up a lot, so the vet gave me some more for occasional use.

I think for Jet, the less he moves the stiffer he gets ( sounds familiar ) and painkillers can break that cycle, and then things are OK for a bit. He's very good about taking his medicine - I honestly think he understands that it helps!

Hope Mr Oswald gets just a good results - he's a sweetie <3

Glad to hear he's more comfortable. It's always hard to tell when cats are achy.
