"He's either never been to Southampton, or he's never been to Umm Qasr", said one British soldier, informed of this while on patrol in Umm Qasr. Another added: "There's no beer, no prostitutes, and people are shooting at us. It's more like Portsmouth."
[Naturally, these places all being in the deep south, we've no idea about the veracity of such comments.]

Hey, their smart missiles never miss (except for the 10 to 15 percent that hit someplace other than where they're aimed). It's the dumb pilots ...
(To be fair, I must say that I wouldn't trust MY accuracy, if I'd been awake for 72 hours on amphetamines and MREs, as some of them have been.)
