  1. Has anyone in the USA started a campaign to return the Statue of Liberty to the French?


  • Has anyone in the US, faced with the idiocy of renaming "French Fries" "freedom fries" or whatever, suggested the perfectly acceptable alternative of "pommes frites" and got away with it? (It doesn't mention the French after all, does it?)
