If Sam=Pigsy, then, presumably, Frodo=Monkey, but who, therefore, is Tripitaka? Sandy? And where's the pretty pink cloud?

We find ourselves more and more troubled by Gollum. He still sounds and looks rather like the late, great Kenneth Williams and we expect his arguments to ascend into Polari at any minute. But, and this is where the discomfort creeps in, bearing in mind the possibility of seeing Gollum as a rather crude Jewish stereotype, his appearance, rather reminiscent of a Belsen survivor, is distinctly disturbing.

Why does the side with the most CGI inevitably lose?

Soundtrack more and more irritating. Or are we the only folk to be annoyed by that?
