Various Quibbles

The day's not started well (it was meant to be "let's celebrate an empty house and peace and quiet" day) with M ill in bed, the Royal Mail preventing me from talking with the taxman about, poetry, tax, anything really. So here are a few other trivial quibbles to add to the heap.
