Time Flies...
Jul. 31st, 2005 10:36 pmLast week was spent doing stuff more likely to be described in the other lj, when I get round to writing it up. (Last year I did a day-by-day commentary, but I wasn't then either helping run the event or still slightly post-viral [wearing dark specs all the time can be an advantage when a stye decides to appear]).
We skipped the Folk Festival again this year, due to apathy, lack of anyone about whom we're sufficiently keen to really care, and proximity to workshop. Instead we had Tolkien-y folk over, lots of salad-y food and a punt trip during which someone fell in. ("Hee!" I'd say callously, except I saw the look on his daughter's face when he went under.) Swapped gossip (or at least news) with C about fleetfootmike: ha! the world is small and the possibility of annoying folk with unhelpful info, immense!
Now, in light of the imminent trip, I'm trying to reduce my inbox by culling subscriptions to online media. How much I resubscribe to when we return will be an interesting experiment.
