Skirt inna Afternoon

A week or so ago, I threw away my favorite skirt. It had reached the point where the attractive fading of the demin had become all but hole. So I'm feeling a little short of clothes. (Yup, I have few enough things in the wardrobe [other than early 1960s evening dresses that I'll never get into again] that the loss of one skirt is a major problem.)

On the other hand, as well as a nealy-complete jumper, the start of another jumper, and one-and-a-bit colourwork mittens, I have a skirt pattern ready printed on rather nice organic cotton sateen. I've got a zip, sewing thread, and all the tools. I could do it in an afternoon.
