And from the political pages
Nov. 10th, 2003 01:09 pmThis piece, Entering America, sheathed in protection, just reinforces the ravens' fear of going through security checks: we know we're guilty even if we're innocent and fear detection! (Stupid, we know.) Specifically, the time when we were returning from a con on Jersey--Soupcon? Helicon?--with a bag containing a repaired hard disk drive (fixed by a friend and handed over at the con) with a chocolate bunny parked on top of it. We had no PC with us, nor appropriate cables, so had no way of proving it was a working hard disk and not some "potential killing machine". We put it in the ravens' bag, since we apparently look less suspicious than M. Goes to show how much more security conscious we've been in the UK for a long while.
And meanwhile, today's email from MoveOn.org has a link to Our World Our Say's petition demanding a full public judicial enquiry into the UK's involvement in the invasion of Iraq.
