Madness

Something needed doing to that list (we'd link to the Beeb's own site, but it's gone awol somehow). So we did.

( titles of 100 best books rendered into something that in no way resembles a piece of fiction )

( then we thought about giving it a score )

Of course, completing it without resorting to the stammer (or is that a stutter?) and people with invented titles would be far more convincing. As would recasting as many proper nouns as possible.

Oh dear, we suppose we ought to do the sf and fantasy lists as well.

Don't know what's more amazing: the fact that headteachers have to make such a recommendation or that the parents can't see the inappropriateness of the things for primary school children: Pupils warned not to wears things.
