Philips 2 in 1 night light, to be precise. Neato. Warm orange glow on the landing or bright burst for the odd occasion when we need to see. In one low-energy light bulb.

Not so much of the raven with a broken wing round here as raven with a bent foot. We're certainly not going to do anything as stupid as dusting the shelves again: it's too dangerous. Have rejected the idea of Casualty--just--but we're not going anywhere two-footed for a bit. Failed to either faint or throw up with the pain, but stairs are being negotiated on our tail. Large quantities of codeine beckon, however.
