Not so much of the raven with a broken wing round here as raven with a bent foot. We're certainly not going to do anything as stupid as dusting the shelves again: it's too dangerous. Have rejected the idea of Casualty--just--but we're not going anywhere two-footed for a bit. Failed to either faint or throw up with the pain, but stairs are being negotiated on our tail. Large quantities of codeine beckon, however.

Oh dear, oh dear!

Feeling very sore--and highly embarrassed--today. The bruise around the foot is specacular. Still, I can now walk up the stairs again, hindered as much by the pulled muscles down the front of our left leg as by the right foot. Oh well, there goes our ballet career.
