LibraryThing's telling me to stop

As are my shoulders.

With the addition of some of Looby Loo's, plus many of mine that I've passed on, we've scooted up placewise from the high 380s to having the 274th biggest library.

Now, ain't that such a childish thing to care about.

Oh, and I've more of her books, plus the rest of the books in the front bedroom, plus the one's I'll be acquiring second hand in the autumn which might take me into the dizzying heights of the top 200. (We have 2000 plus books, but the plus ain't that big.))

2000? You haven't seen our library, have you? People think we moved to the country for the peace and quiet (which is definitely a plus), but the real reason was so that we could afford a house that would hold all of the books.

Yup. Shame on us. We're not really readers, at all ;-)

Bearing in mind the size of our little house, we reached a comfortable capacity some while ago--and still keep on buying.

The major reason for completing cataloguing just now is so that Looby Loo's grandparents don't buy her books she already has. Storing too many duplicates is just not feasible. Then there's my habit of forgetting which Folio Society books (what I lack in quantity I make up for in expense) I own.
