Laptop Muff

No, it's not the subject line of the best of today's spam. It's the big white cat's new job. He is taken to sleeping, undercarriage along the back of the laptop with a pair of paws curled round each side. The only disadvantage is his tail which does occasionally curve in front of the screen.

The additional commentary (which I'm afraid I delete) of "zzzzzzzzzzz" is contributed by his back paws only when he's dreaming.

I call it my alien kitty 'cos I think it looks like a robot cat.

Actually, and rather more prosaically, it's a clip to fasten the top of a fill your own teabag, with a chain and hook to hang it from the teapot (or teacup, I suppose)--based on hair clip technology apparently.

hee! At least Muffin isn't wrapping himself round my laptop - just parking himself right next to it. Perhaps I shouldn't mention Big's antics, in case it gives him ideas....

Despite the mammoth clear up to rediscover the surface of my desk less than a month ago, I have to confess that he's occupying the only free space on the desk. When the heating goes on, he'll be sandwiched between warm laptop an warm radiator. Not bad, really.
