Those articles on color + language were fascinating. Science! It works on figuring stuff out. I guess it's not entirely surprising that use of language influences vision, but yeah, it is actually. (I am not a scientist.)

Me, I like the profusion of crayons because they can help us talk about color. In conversation, there's no way to tell whether you and I experience the same color in the same way, but thanks to Crayola we can at least agree to call that particular shade "periwinkle", for example.
