Went out to get stamps and post letters. And got these: Fruit & Veg Stamps

Cute.

Also scavenged an abandoned lid from a packet of Smarties. An "a" too. The collection's almost getting to the stage where Looby Loo will be able to spell something useful with them. But when did they change to a uniform orange colour?

Maybe you remember, maybe you never knew ...

... I have boxes and boxes of smartie lids, probably nearly the complete alphabet in just about every lid colour they did and there are font variations too!

I think that I could be persuaded someday to give them away to a good home (unless anyone thinks someone on ebay might be willing to pay money for a rare blue "m" or the complete sets?)!

Well, if you take a look at the site I linked to, I suspect you'll find there's a lucrative(?) market for these things, and on eBay too.

And, no, this was not one of the things I knew about you. Oh well, we live and learn.

Pretty stamps!

I'm rather fond of the American Bats (http://shop.usps.com/cgi-bin/vsbv/postal_store_non_ssl/display_products/productDetail.jsp?OID=2458623&BV_UseBVCookie=yes) stamps at the moment ... especially for air mail!

Though the Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge (http://shop.usps.com/cgi-bin/vsbv/postal_store_non_ssl/display_products/productDetail.jsp?OID=4136835&BV_UseBVCookie=yes) stamp is perhaps a more elegant design.
