Having skimmed this review earlier today, perhaps it ought not to be a surprise that, on glancing up from chopping onions, we read the manufacturer's name on the side of the bread machine as Russell Hoban. One wonders what kind of loaf he'd produce.

(And if only we had a machine we could stick the ideas in and get the fresh-baked literary endeavours out. Hah! Our plots'd never rise.)
