Preparing for (whispers) You Know What

We looked at the todo list. We groaned. We rewrote it, removing those things we had done--and adding a few new items. It's 11.00 pm, we think. What can we achieve in the next hour or so?

We made rum butter. Not a huge amount: we only had ten and a bit tablespoons of rum left in the the bottle. But enough to be going on with. If we really get desperate, we could use the Stroh that's been gathering dust on the drinks shelf for the last dozen years or more.

We still miss Jefferson's tho': Lamb's just doesn't quite do it.

Edit: And we can't cross "make rum butter" off the list, 'cos the cat's sitting on the list.
