Well thank you: that worked too. The one annoying thing about the SMS to lj mechanisism is its inability to allow me to post private entries. And I had no time to delete this test before I rushed out last night.
Dunnit before, but it's still fun. (Stuck in traffic on the way to Blackpool before Easter, M eas completely mystified as to what I was doing with my phone, and was then frankly unimpressed when I fessed up.) The test was really whether I'd set up the template on the new phone correctly.
Still, it's unlikely to be a regular habit. I sent so few texts whilst had I a bundle free every month that I've opted for a cheaper package from the phone compnay and now have to pay for them. If I continue to send less than twnety a month, I'll be quids in.
Recurrent alarm that I could leave set to 2.50 pm for weekdays only. I've not quite adjusted to picking up from school time yet.
It's also bigger and doesn't nestle in pockets quite so neatly. But requiring small and not clamshell does limit the size and most of the extra is a slighlty larger screen.
It has all sorts of things I don't want: polyphonic ringtones; MMS when I don't have, and don't want, a camera in my phone; flashing keypad; games.
It does work well tho' and if it lasts a couple of years and I replace it for free again then I shouldn't really complain.
I've always been suspicious of the itsy-bitsies, myself - partly, I suppose, because my middle sister keeps misplacing hers. Still, it is nice to have a screen, and keys, that are large enough they can be read.
