... is it's not chicken pox or shingles, but it is a virus, and I'm infectious. Roll on cancellation of much of this week :-(

Not hard to give in: the walk down to the surgery was enough to drain me and wring me out. And I still itch.

Oh, I think I know this one -- I had it a few years ago when I was working in Bangor. It does go quite quickly, if that's any comfort, and I was told it wasn't very contagious. Hope it improves soon.

Thanks. I've been told I'll probably be infectious for another 48 hours, so I don't have to worry about cancelling too much. Actually, what with the headache, sore throat and aching neck that preceded the spots all having improved somewhat, I'm feeling more cheerful than I have in days.
