Oh, I've always wanted to keep chickens! My neighbors here would not appreciate it, but as soon as we move someplace with a bigger yard, I'm going for it.

I'm hoping ours aren't too noisy. They're doing reasonably contented small talk right now, and not jumping out of their skins from the noise of the main road coming over the house (it's been a day of many sirens).

What we don't have is a cockerel. That would be asking a bit much of neighbours.
